Frequently Asked Questions

NVOCC software manages the business of a non-vessel operating common carrier: slot and freight contracts, bookings, Bills of Lading, own/SOC container control, detention and principal-wise accounting. BlueLogis NX covers all of these in one cloud platform.

NVOCC principals and lines use BlueLogis NX, which keeps the agents' ledger and the principal's ledger separately and supports an agent network. Agencies that represent principals use BlueLogis AX, and freight forwarders use BlueLogis FX. All three run on the same platform. For the principal's side in depth, see NVOCC principal software.

Yes. SOC and COC boxes run on separate workflows, with on-hire/off-hire, depot mapping, container moves tracking, location-wise inventory and age and turnaround analysis.

Yes. Free days can be set by port, container type, customer, B/L and container. Charges are calculated daily, invoiced automatically, and the delivery order is released only after the to-collect charges are cleared. Demurrage & Detention is a Premium module.

Yes. It supports GST and VAT treatment and multi-currency invoicing with exchange rates by customer, voyage and invoice. In India, tax invoices, credit notes and debit notes can be registered on the Government e-invoice portal with a QR code.

Yes. NX can run in the same cloud tenancy as BlueLogis FX, sharing party, port, charge masters and users. Forwarding jobs from FX can be fed into NX as bookings, while each keeps its own finance book.

Yes. It is browser-based with no desktop install, hosted on secure multi-tier AWS cloud. The site states: Zero Server Cost. Zero Setup Fee.

Not yet, and we don't claim it. SOC 2 is an independent attestation rather than a certificate. BlueLogis is working towards SOC 2 Type II with our compliance partner, Protaxology Advisors. The gap assessment is complete and we are closing the gaps it identified, aiming to meet the applicable SOC 2 Type II requirements by 30 November 2026. An independent audit by a certified SOC 2 auditor will follow. See Security & Trust or request our progress letter (under NDA).
